Jonna Bruinsma

Born and bred Amsterdammer Jonna’s sun-kissed style is warm and evocative. Driven by her life-long curiosity towards people and the places they call home, her ongoing project in and around Bari in Southern Italy explores how a vibrant youth culture, tradition, religion, and identity shape and reflect one another. Her work keeps returning to the same people and places, finding meaning in daily rituals, small gestures, clothing, and the way a body holds itself in the world.
